I'm not- surprised or anything.
[His voice is soft, yet angry.]
But you Gryffindors have to be the most useless of the lot. Can't even band together when there's an emergency. No, you've got to split up and die separate, like a bloody herd of sheep. 's good that there's one less of you, really.
[A long pause, and he slowly gets over himself.
And because he can't filter messages and generally sucks at everything that doesn't involve spellcraft...]
Vi- I found a better table than the one we're using. A couple candles too, for light. Want to meet me in a bit?
[His voice is soft, yet angry.]

[He's exchanged blows with his brother more than once. But Regulus quiets down and takes a drag of the cigarette.]
Did they hurt you?
[offline]
So I, uh, hit her with a lit cigarette and ground it in.
[offline]
[He doesn't seem terrible perturbed. Then again, healing spells exist in his world.]
She probably deserved it.

Should have known you'd take to following me around.

[Since Violet has just been talking about using one of these to scar a girl permanently, she hurries to the sink to crush it out.]
[offline]
Who knows when you'll need another extraction from the lake.
[offline]
[He sighs and slips off the table, pressing his hands in his pockets.]
I'm assuming you came here to do something other than sabotage my attempts at making friends?
[offline]
[offline]
Who said anything about sabotage?
[offline]
[That tingles. His fists tighten a bit as a shiver runs through his spine.]
Look, just leave her out of this.
[offline]
Well, mostly Snape.]
[offline]
To my knowledge I haven't even talked to her yet, Black. Protective much?
[offline]
[He scowls.]
Sorry Violet.
[offline]
[Shrug.]

[The spell doesn't seem to show anything too worrying, so he stops it and pulls out a mild healing potion which should fix up the rest.]
And I'm sure you realize how stupid of a question that was.
[offline]
[He smiles sheepishly and moves to take it.]
It finished brewing? And don't threaten her.
[offline]
[He's nerve-wracking, but not terrifying.]
He's trying to help you, right?
[offline]
And I believe that I still have yet to address her. Really now, Black, one might begin to think you're developing Gryffindoric tendencies with these latest heroics of yours.
[offline]
[He snarls before taking a deep drink of the potion and wincing as it went down, before addressing Violet.]
-yeah, he's helping. I'm still a little torn up from when I drowned a lot. This stuff makes it bette- ah, probably shouldn't have been smoking. [Another little wince. Way to destroy your lungs forever Regulus.]

Not exactly the most eloquent, but I believe Miss Harmon has got the general gist of it.

[He coughs once.]
Doesn't really matter.
